I always have this qn in my mind…

If piggies are haram, why create it? hmMmmm… There must be a purpose in this Duniya right?

Mezba, do you mean by Muslim human or by Muslim Lego Figures?

Khadijah, wa’alaikum’as’salam They are haram to eat but that does not mean that there is anything haram about their existence. 🙂

haha, I say haraam to eat, both by humans and lego figurines!!!! LOL. Makes me wonder why are they on earth….ever wonder? Also makes me doubt why keeping a dog as a pet is haraam when in fact they can be trained to be obedient, loyal, and playful.

  One can ask the same question about dinosaurs but that would be missing the point right? It is certainly not haram to study pigs to study their anatomy, morphology etc.

To the above commenter, I don’t think keeping a dog as a pet is haram. It’s just that their saliva is considered impure so it is encouraged to not keep them as pets. Also angels don’t enter where there are dogs, so it’s advised not to have one inside the home. There are occasions were it is permissible though, I think.
